Pre-order at Bamsedyra – here's how it works
Some products at Bamsedyra are offered as pre-orders. This means that the item is not currently in stock, but has been ordered or reserved from the supplier and will be shipped to you as soon as it arrives.
I offer pre-orders to give my customers the opportunity to secure popular products that often sell out quickly, or items that come in limited editions. This provides better predictability for you as a customer – and allows me to order the correct quantities and avoid unnecessary overproduction.
Important to know about pre-ordering
When pre-ordering, you complete the purchase in the usual way. Payment is handled via the chosen payment solution (Vipps, Klarna, etc.). The order is sent as soon as the item has been received and is ready for dispatch.
Estimated delivery time is always stated on the product page. This is an estimate based on information from the supplier, and minor changes may occur.
If your order contains both in-stock items and pre-ordered items, the order will be sent together when everything is ready – unless otherwise agreed in advance.

When do I pay for a pre-order?
You pay upon ordering, in the same way as with regular purchases. This ensures that the item is reserved specifically for you.
What happens if delivery is delayed?
If the delivery time changes significantly, I will inform you as soon as possible. You can then choose to wait or cancel the order and receive a full refund.
Can I cancel a pre-order?
Yes. You can cancel before the item is shipped and receive a full refund. After dispatch, the usual right of withdrawal applies.
Does the right of withdrawal apply to pre-orders?
Yes. Pre-orders are covered by the right of withdrawal act, just like other online purchases.
Are pre-ordered items new and original?
Yes. All pre-ordered products at Bamsedyra are new, unused, and supplied via official distributors.
