Hilda

The Hilda plush toys are truly unique. The series is developed by Fritz Hansen AS, a family-owned Norwegian toy supplier that has been in operation since 1946 – and is today among the leaders in Scandinavia. With their long tradition of quality and care, they wanted to create a collection that combines softness, personality, and lasting values. The result is Hilda – a collection of plush toys filled with warmth, imagination, and a genuine story.

The name and concept are inspired by a real Norwegian great-grandmother, Hilda, who was known for always having a great-grandchild in one arm and a plush toy in the other. This love and security are at the core of the Hilda series – and live on in every single animal. Each teddy bear in the series has its own name, birthday, and personality, inviting play, bonding, and storytelling.

The collection consists of several charming figures – including Pepper the loyal dog, Knøtte the cuddly cat, Michelsen the curious fox, Roald the wise polar bear, and Fritz the calm moose. The series is divided into groups such as pets, wild animals, polar friends, and farm animals – and all are made with recycled material filling and an expression that is both lifelike and unique.
