Bamsedyra is a Norwegian online plush toy store (with a physical presence in Gjøvik) specializing in high-quality plush animals and stuffed toys.

Yes, in Gjøvik city center.

Ordering & Payment

Which payment methods do you accept (Vipps, card, Klarna, invoice)?

We accept Vipps, card, and Klarna.

Can I pay with a gift card?

Yes, digital gift cards are available.

Can I change or cancel an order after it has been placed?

Yes - just let me know! josh@bamsedyra.no

How do I use a discount code?

Enter the code in the discount field at checkout before payment.

Will I receive an order confirmation and receipt?

Yes, these will be sent by email after placing your order.

Do you offer corporate purchases and invoicing (EHF)?

This is something we can arrange! Feel free to send an email to inquire!

Shipping & Delivery

What shipping options do you offer?

We normally ship with Bring; available options and prices are shown at checkout.

What is the delivery time?

If the item is in stock, I ship the next day (not Friday - Sunday). It then usually takes 2 - 5 days for you to receive the package!

What are the shipping costs? Do you offer free shipping above a certain amount?

Shipping costs NOK 69 for "Package in mailbox" and NOK 99 for "Package to pick-up point". Free shipping on orders over NOK 499.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! And we have a Swedish VAT number so that Bamsedyra pays duties and customs.

Will I receive tracking for my package?

Yes, a tracking link will be sent where tracking is available.

Can I pick up in-store/local pick-up in Gjøvik?

Yes, of course! Just select "pick up in store" at checkout.

Can I change the delivery address after ordering?

Yes - inform josh@bamsedyra.no

What happens if the package is delayed or lost?

Contact us and we will find a solution.

Returns, Exchanges & Complaints

What is your return period?

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases in accordance with Norwegian law (Angrerettloven).

How do I make a return/exchange?

Contact josh@bamsedyra.no to inform me that you wish to return the product.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

Yes - but we will refund it when the product is back at Bamsedyra.

How long does it take to get a refund?

As soon as the product is back at Bamsedyra, I will refund the money. It usually takes 2 - 5 days.

What do I do if the item is damaged or defective?

Contact us and we will look into the matter.

Products & Quality

Which brands does Bamsedyra sell?

Jellycat, Hansa Creation, Living Nature, Teddykompaniet, Wild Republic, among others.

Are Jellycat products suitable from birth?

Most Jellycat products are suitable from birth. If not, it will be stated on the label.

Are the products CE marked and safe?

Yes, our toys comply with current EU/CE requirements. See the product page for details.

What materials and fillings are used?

Many products use soft, durable textiles; details are on each product page.

Do you provide measurements and weight?

Yes, all measurements are given in metric units (cm/kg) on the product page.

Are items in stock?

Stock status is displayed on each product page.

Can I reserve an item that will soon be in stock?

We are happy to offer pre-orders so you can secure what you want to buy.

Do you restock sold-out products?

Very often. Contact us to inquire about the status of the products.

Pre-order & Partial Delivery

Do you offer pre-orders?

Yes, for selected launches/items. Estimated delivery month is shown on the product page.

When will I be charged for pre-orders?

Immediately if you choose card or Vipps. Feel free to use Klarna for partial payments.

Do you send partial deliveries if the order contains both in-stock and pre-order items?

I will contact you to ask if you want the in-stock items sent immediately.

What happens if the supplier postpones a pre-order?

Unfortunately, it happens sometimes. I will then contact you to ask if you still want to wait or cancel/exchange.

Gifts & Gift Wrapping

Do you offer gift wrapping?

No, unfortunately not.

Can you send a package directly to the recipient with a greeting?

Yes, enter the recipient's address at checkout and write the greeting in the notes field (where available).

Do you remove prices from the packing slip for gifts?

Yes, if we are notified.

Do you sell physical gift cards in-store?

No.

Sustainability & Community

What does Bamsedyra do for the environment?

A portion of each order goes via Greenspark to tree planting, removal of plastic from oceans and rivers, and planting of kelp forests.

How do you package items (plastic-free/easily recyclable packaging)?

We like to reuse cardboard and packaging.

Hansa Creation – Special Info

Are Hansa products handmade and in limited editions?

Hansa products are produced to order in limited quantities; once sold out, it can take months for the next production to be ready.

Can I pre-order Hansa animals?

Follow the washing instructions on the label. As a general rule, gentle hand washing and air drying are recommended.
