Ricky Rain Frog | Jellycat

Ricky Rain Frog from Jellycat is a quiet, green charmer with an adorable, slightly grumpy expression and a body made for hugs. With his round shape, soft fur, and small legs, Ricky is both fun and lovable – perfect for children (and adults!) who enjoy stuffed animals with personality.

Jellycat is known for its unique design and quality, and Ricky is no exception. He is safe from birth and fits just as well in bed as on an office desk or in a flock of plushies.

About Jellycat

Jellycat is known for its iconic, soft and imaginative plush toys of very high quality. At Bamsedyra, I am proud to be an official retailer of Jellycat in Norway, and I use the same authorized distributor as Sprell. This guarantees original products, correct documentation, and secure purchases.

Many Jellycat products are safe from birth, but I always recommend checking the label on each individual product, as safety recommendations may vary.

Please also note that Jellycat products from Bamsedyra are not delivered in the blue Jellycat bag– this is only included with direct orders from Jellycat.

What is the Bamsedyra?

Bamsedyra is a specialized stuffed animal shop from Gjøvik, run by me (Josh). I curate a careful selection of high-quality stuffed animals and accessories with a focus on safety, durability, and good stories. The shop is almost exclusively dedicated to plush toys, and my goals are to inspire the next generation to love animals as I do, offer quality products, and build a business that provides a good workplace for me and future employees. I want to create something that gives back – both to the local community and the wider community.

Quality and safety

I focus almost exclusively on plush toys: Jellycat, Hansa Creation, Living Nature, Teddykompaniet, Wild Republic, and others. Hansa products are handmade in small batches; when a model is sold out, it can take time for the next batch to arrive. All products comply with European safety standards. Measurements are given in centimeters (including sitting height where relevant).

Community and learning

Bamsedyra is rooted in Gjøvik. I enjoy collaborating locally and arranging family-friendly activities when I can – because play can foster curiosity, thoughtfulness, and a sense of belonging. I use the UN Sustainable Development Goals as my compass and try to reflect these values in my daily decisions.

Sustainability and impact

For each order, I contribute via GreenSpark to tree planting, removing plastic from oceans and waterways, and restoring kelp forests. I prioritize durable, safe plush toys over "use and dispose," preferably those using recycled filling. The packaging is kept simple and easy to recycle.
